In order to further improve the energy efficiency level of electric motors in China, promote technological progress in electric motors, and promote the healthy development of the industry, National Energy Foundation and Standardization Technical Committee held a conference for the revision of the standard《The Energy efficiency limit and level of Permanent magnet synchronous electric motors and High voltage three-phase cage asynchronous motors》. Anhui Mingteng Permanent Magnetic Electrical&machinery Equipment Co., Ltd,other famous domestic company, foreign enterprises and institutions attended the conference. the conference was hosted by Doctor Ren Liu, the Associate Researcher of the Resources and Environment Branch of the China Institute of Standardization.
Doctor Ren Liu introduced and shared the background, cope and status of standard reversion in details. Currently, as the rapid development of the technique of saving energy for electric motors, some permanent magnet and high voltage equipment with low efficiency are old-fashioned. The products covered by the original standards are not standardized and complete, and there is an urgent need to revise the limited values and energy efficiency levels of permanent magnets and high-voltage equipment . China has vigorously promoted energy conservation and emission reduction, providing favorable support for standard revision in policy support. End users have also raised higher requirements for product energy efficiency levels during centralized procurement, bidding, and other processes. At the same time, technical support has been provided for standard revision in terms of materials and design capabilities. Based on this, the National Standardization Administration Committee has proposed the revision and centralized management of the standards for the energy efficiency limit values and energy efficiency levels of permanent magnet and high-voltage motors. The revised project number for the “Energy Efficiency Limit Values and Energy Efficiency Levels of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors” is 20221486-0-469. The standard approval number 20230450-Q-469 is “Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Grades for High Voltage Three Phase Cage Asynchronous Motors”.
At the kick-off meeting, representatives of participating enterprises and organizations expressed their approval for the necessity of the standard revision, and at the same time, they fully discussed the important indexes of the standard, such as energy-efficiency indexes, power range, rotational speed range and other revised contents, as well as the alignment with the IEC standard, and the advancement of the standard, and so on.
Next, the National Energy Basis and Standardization Technical Committee “permanent magnet synchronous motor energy efficiency limit value and energy efficiency class” and “high-voltage three-phase cage asynchronous motor energy efficiency limit value and energy efficiency class” standard revision drafting group will be based on the issues mentioned in the kick-off meeting to form the standard revision of the consultation draft and more widely solicit the views of the whole society is expected to be submitted to the end of this year for approval.
